Fhangor is the synonym for a man who fights against the monotony of remixes by creating new songs. He sees himself as an independent songwriter making music influenced by Pink Floyd, Alan Parsons Project, Jethro Tull and Genesis. His music can be called alternative pop. Listen to it and decide by yourself if it is enjoyable or not.

Facts about Peter Grohmann
Peter Grohmann was born in Bruck/Mur (1965/12/12). He lived there the first 17 years of his life, attending the BG Bruck/Mur among other schools (there he founded his first and only band up to now. This schoolband had 2 gigs until it disbanded). During this time he learned piano in the music schools of Bruck/Mur and Kapfenberg, first classical piano and then boogie and blues in the class of Günther Theil.
After general qualification for university entrance he went to Graz for study telematics at the TU Graz. After 10 years he has made all exams except his diploma. Cause of military duty he has to stop studying. After 8 month in St. Michael he took his first job in Graz. In this time he learned to play guitar by himself. Many songs have been created in this time but were never published.
At the age of 35 he bought a computer for making music. For publishment he has chosen the synonym Fhangor. After fighting a while with the technique one song after the other has been done. In Winter 2006 the first CD has been finished and published under the name "It's Just Me".
At the age of 40 Peter started to study again to get his long awaited degree. He inscribed at the FH Technikum Wien where he made his degree as a Master Of Science In Engineering one year later. In this time no songs were added to his repertoire.
Nowadays there is again enough time besides his work at the provincial government of Styria to produce new songs.
